    114 leaves, bound : vellum ; 16 cm.

    Summary:
    Treatise on Christian religion addressed to Jews and Saracenes; it contains one of the earliest references to the Jewish kabbalah in a Christian book.

    Notes:
    Written in hybrida script with colored initials in green (some blank spaces left for initials) and headings in pale rose and red; ruled for 2 columns of 31 lines, justified 10 x 7 cm.

    Written at Naples by Frater Jacobus de Vratislavia for Nicolaus de Monte Murro.
    "Explicit libellus qui zelus christi nuncupatur compilatus per egregium virum dominum Petrum de la cavalaria legum doctorem in lingua latina caldaca arabica et hebrea eruditissimum de civitate Cesaraugusta in quo Judeo et Sarraceno fidem Jesu Christi probat esse veram quem ego frater Jacobus de Vratislavia teutonus scripsi pro meo preceptore egregio magistro Nicolao de Monte Murro verum ex quodam exemplari incorrectissimo, anno ab incarnatione Jesu Christi dei et domini nostri nonagesimo secundo supra M et cccc : Neapoli" (f. 114r).
