  • Summary: Four separate volumes containing a variety of texts of the late twelfth and thirteenth centuries have been bound together as CCCC MS 470. The contents includes a Kalendar of Norwich Cathedral Priory, an Office of the Virgin, litany and prayers of uncertain use, Hildebert of Lavardin (1056-1133), De mysterio missae, Lawrence of Durham OSB (d. 1154), Hypognosticon (a work on salvation history covering both the Old and New Testaments), and Osbert of Bawdsey (fl. mid-twelfth century), De expugnatione Lysbonensi, the account of the expulsion of the Muslim garrison from Lisbon in 1147.
