Provenance: 1. Written in England (or France?) in the second half
of the 13th century. 2. From the Library of Henry VIII on the
evidence of the binding and therefore perhaps confiscated from a
monastic library (cf. Carley, The libraries of King Henry VIII, p.
lxxv). 3. Recorded as being in the Library of The Queen's College
in Langbaine's mid 17th century catalogue.
Contents: Acts of the Apostles, with the Glossa ordinaria,
including five prologues (ff. 1r–71v). The seven Canonical
Epistles with the Glossa ordinaria (ff. 72r-116v). Revelation, with
gloss and prologues (ff. 117r–148v).
Hand: Central column written in a fine early gothic script with
gloss or prologue ‘above top line’ in smaller, less formal
script.
