    Contains, in Dutch: (ff. 1r-146r) Explicatio in Cantica Canticorum / Richard of Saint Victor. Translation. Incomplete (chapter 1-40). - (ff. 146r-182v) Devotional texts: mainly exempla translated from: Vitae Patrum (157r, 157v); Caesarius of Heisterbach's Dialogus miraculorum (152r, 161r, 164v, 165v, 167r, 169v, 170v, 171r, 171v, 172r, 174r, 174v, 181v); Jean Gobi's Scala Caeli (165v, 168r, 169r, 170r, 171v, 173r, 173v, 176r, 179v, 180v, 181v); Henry Suso's Horologium Sapientiae (176r). - Also contains: Van die sonderlinge ende eerwaerdige doecht der oetmoedicheit (f. 146r); Vander oetmoedicheit (155v-157r); Vanden heilighen sacrament (ff. 162r-164v); Dat onse lieve vrouwe ende die heilghe trouweliken eren sellen (ff. 174v).

    Origin: Based on penwork decoration (cf. Venner & 1979).
    Collation: Codex consists of 14 senios and 1 septenio; the outer and inner bifolium of each quire are made of parchment, the other bifolia in between of paper.
    Binding: Medieval binding, contemporary. - Leather (brown, blind-tooled) over wooden boards with bevelled edges. Remnants of two clasp fastenings (closing back to front; metal hooks and straps missing).
    Textual: (ff. 1r-146r) "Dit sijn Rijchaerdus woerden seer merckelic ende stichtich op Cantica Canticorum. Hoe men in rusten gode soeken sel ende van begeerten meere graecien". Incipit: "In minen beddekijn heb ik ghesocht dien mijn siel minnet ...". Explicit: "... Tot welker werscap mijn suster mijn bruut comen moet na desen arbeyde Amen".
