The Pseudo-Clementines in a copy produced at the Cloister of
Einsiedeln in the period around 950/970, with a title illustration
showing the conflict between Peter the Apostle and Simon Magus. The
10-book "Pseudo-Klementinen" is written from the point of view of
Peter's follower Clement and tells about Peter's travels, his
conflict with Simon Magus, and the conversion of his pupil, Clement
of Rome.
