Summary: CCCC MS 229 is a twelfth- or thirteenth-century manuscript, containing excerpts from Nonius Marcellus, De compendiosa doctrina, written in early part of the fourth century. This is a lexicon covering language, grammar, navigation, arms and other topics. It has been suggested that this manuscript was donated to Corpus Christi College by the scholar, poet and diplomat, Daniel Rogers (c. 1538-91).
