This volume of registers from the faculty of arts contains, as its
oldest and originally sepa-rate part, the statutes of the faculty.
At the end of the 15th century, they were bound toge-ther with an
academic calendar and with two registers containing the names of
students and graduates (‘baccalaureates’) matriculated since
1461. Quires originally left blank for this purpose continue the
list of degrees (‘magister’ and ‘baccalaureate’) awarded
until 1848.
