Description

• Provenance: Written at the order of Humbert, bishop of Würzburg (inscription, fol. 1v), probably at Würzburg, although Fulda has also been suggested. Würzburg, Domstift St Kilian: 15th-century shelfmark, fol. 1r. William Laud, 1573-1645: his ex libris, 1637, fol. 1v. Given to the Bodleian as part of his third donation, dispatched on 28 June 1639.
  Contents: Deuteronomy (ff. 1r-44v). Joshua (ff. 44v-77r). Judges (ff. 77r-105r). Ruth (ff. 105r-107v).
  Hand: German Anglo-Saxon minuscule, several hands.
