Date (part 2): According to Bischoff 2004: "Werden, wohl um 900
möglich".
Illustration: Decorated initial on f. 2v with a head drawn in pen
and ink; marginal drawing of a bishop's head (Liudger?).
Binding: Medieval binding, not contemporary (15th century?). -
Parchment cover, no boards, with fore-edge flap (hexagonal, closing
back to front), tacketed (indirect), using three sewn parchment
pieces (one lost) on spine exterior as extra support. Bookblock
with not-shortened sewing supports (chords) points to a prior
planned binding with boards. Limp binding. - Two blank paper leaves
between part 1 and 2 ((ff. 29, 29a).
