    Notes:
    A fragment of the orderly book of the New Hampshire Battalion containing chiefly brigade and general orders.
    Biographical Note:
    The New Hampshire Battalion was created on 1 March 1783 as a result of re-organization of the 2nd New Hampshire Regiment. As a part of the New Hampshire Brigade, it was assigned to the Main Army. In June it was consolidated with the 1st New Hampshire Regiment.
