"Orderly Book No. 7 from October 26 1777 to November 27 1777." Biographical Note:
In October 177, Alexander McDougall was appointed Major General and
was put in command of a division consisting of seven Connecticut
and Massachusetts regiments. In the late fall of 1777, McDougall's
division attempted to prevent a British advance southwest of
