Description

• The codex contains homilies on the Pentateuch parashot with glosses and some additions.
  Contents: Homilies (ff. 1a-244b). At the beginning of a homily a paragraph in Judeo-Spanish (f. 89a). An index (f. 127a). Explanation on Isaiah 49:21 (f. 127b). A paragraph in Judeo-Spanish (f. 226a). Other homilies, some probably by the author, with emendations, cancellations and additions (ff. 212a-244b), end is missing.
  Extent: ff. 244. 210 x 160 x 44 mm.
  Layout: Text written in one column; with some marginal annotations.
  Hand: Sefardi semi-cursive script.
  Binding: Vellum over paper boards.
  Provenance: John Fell (1625-1686), Dean of Christ Church and Bishop of Oxford.
