  Contains: (ff.1-156) Spieghel der volcomenheit / Hendrik Herp. - (ff. 157r-180v) Een corte simpel leere. With table of contents (f. 157r-v) - (ff. 181v-185r) Prayers to the Virgin Mary. - (ff. 185v-187v) Een goede leeringhe. - (f. 188v) Later added notes. - Empty: four uncounted leaves between f. 156 and 157, f. 188r.

  Origin: Based on the decoration (see Byvanck database).
  Date: Based the final verses of the poem, in which "lxii" was written on erasure: (f. 180v) "Daer dit boec uut ghescreven is / Dies syt seker ende ghewijs / Dat wert ghedicht ende ghemaect Doen den harinc was dorre ende qualic gheraect / Dat was int jaer ons heren / Dusent CCCC ende Ixii meere / Bidt voer diet becoste ende screef / Want daer groot ghebrect noch bleef". Did the scribe replace the creation date of the poem by that of his copy?.
  Decoration: Unfinished; spaces provided for decoration.
  Binding: Medieval binding, contemporary. - Leather (brown, blind-tooled) over wooden boards. Two clasp fastenings (closing back to front, renewed). - Bookblock resewn, spine renewed.
