Greek Menologion with Byzantine miniatures, badly flaking, made for
Demetrios I Palaiologos, despot of Thessalonike 1322-c. 1340: a
pictorial calendar of saints arranged by their feast-days from
September to August, preceded (fols. 1v-6r) by a full-page cycle
for the Great Feasts of scenes from the Lives of Christ and the
Virgin, and followed (fols. 54v-55r) by a cycle for St. Demetrios.
