- Description
-
- Map in a state intermediate between a T-O map and a mappae mundi,
150mm. (6"). The centre is Delos, following a Greek tradition; the
compass-drawn circle is the Cyclades. The geography is a little
less formal, the Alps, the Danube, Carthage, and Crete for example.
The Mare Occeanum is a necklace of red and blue uncials.
Composite manuscript.
