It was owned by Ten Duinen Abbey, as indicated by presence of the

De animalibus by Aristotle (384 - 322 B.C.), translated by William
of Moerbeke (c. 1215 - 1286). The translation of Aristotle's book
of animals is made up of five works. One of the works is De
generatione animalium, in which Aristotle explains his theory of
embryology and reproduction. The manuscript also contains a

Book of Secrets. In the manuscript, the titles are indicated
alternately in blue and red letters. The initials are decorated
