Jerome (1r-2r). With marginal chapter indication in two versions:
one in alternate red and blue ink, the other in brown ink (e.g.
Genesis: I-L versus i-lxxxi). - (ff. 301r-336r) Interpretation of
Hebrew names. - Empty: f. 300v. - Also contains marginal notes. -
Also contains 16th-century notes on ff. 1*r-v, 336v and the recto
of the back flyleaf. Note:
Origin and date: Based on the style of the decoration (see Byvanck
database).
Script: Written by two scribes: ff. 1r-300r (A), 301r-336r (B).
Binding: Medieval binding, not contemporary. - Leather (brown,
blind-tooled) over wooden boards with bevelled edges (inside).
Decorated a.o. with word stamps (Maria, Jhesus). Two clasp
fastenings (closing front to back, one hook missing).
