    182 leaves, bound : vellum ; 30 cm.

    Notes:
    Written in a regular Carolingian minuscule hand 33-34 lines per page in one column in black ink, with highlights, including initial letters of the biblical lemmata, in red.
    Probably written in Germany (ex-libris note, f. 1r).
    There are 7 large pen-drawn decorated initials.
    F. 1r has a line-drawing of Bede presenting the work to Bishop Acca of Hexham.
    Bound in 15th-century brown calf over oak boards. For the end leaves, from an 11th-century Bible, see the separate Hollis record under this call number.
    In a tray case, 33 cm.
