Three independent manuscripts bound together: transcript, c.
1160-70, of the part of the Domesday Book relating to
Herefordshire, in Latin; and copies of two well-known treatises on
English law, 'Glanvill', in Latin, early 13th century, and
'Britton', in French, early 14th century.
Provenance: Not recorded, but the Herefordshire interest of part 1
suggests that it came by bequest of Dr George Coningesby in
1766.
Contents: Domesday Book (ff. 1–42). 'Glanvill' (ff. 43–72).
'Britton' (ff. 73–170).
