Autograph letter, signed, describing French naval warships and
naval operations. The letter is written on the letterhead of
"Louis-Charles Levassor de la Touche", with a naval armorial crest
at the top of the first page. The letter is dated March 1, 1779 and
signed by Latouche-Treville on the third page. A postscript in a
different hand, signed by Cherisey, is on the third page, below
Latouche-Treville's signature. The fourth page is blank. Title
