• Content:
  Collection of prayers, in Dutch. Contains mostly prayers to the Virgin Mary, including: Onser liever vrouwen mantel (1r-63r). - Also contains exercises, prayers and psalms for Christmastide (167v-199v). - A complete analysis of the contents in Lieftinck 1948.
  Note:
  Origin: Based on the style of the decoration (see Byvanck database).
  Binding: Medieval binding, contemporary (original). - Leather (white pigskin, blind-tooled) on wooden boards with bevelled edges. Two clasp fastenings (closing back to front, hooks missing). Fixed page markers (button-shaped) on bookblock fore edge.
  Textual: (f. 1r) "Hier begint een devoete materie ende is geheiten onser liever vrouwen mantel ende is gedeilt doer die weke ... [Incipit:] Die moder des onbevlecten lemkens jhesu christe die vanendragersche is ...".
