Content:
Contains: (ff. 1r-8r) A calendar with computus tables for the 15th
century. - (ff. 8r-99r) Incipits of antiphons with music notation,
hymns for processions. - (ff. 99v-105r) An office of the dead and
for the funeral. - Also contains some unidentified music and
texts. Note:
Parchment is damaged (black) and some leaves are trimmed off
(without loss of text)
Origin: Based on the calendar, in which the names of the saints who
were especially venerated in the diocese of Münster are written in
red. Probably meant for a monastery or convent that followed the
Rule of St. Augustine of Hippo.
Collation: 8IV (1-64), 2 (? 65-66), 3IV (67-90), IV-1 (91-96, 97),
IV (98-105).
Layout: ff. 106v-108r have a different layout of 16 staves in
'Hufnagelschrift'.
Binding: Post-medieval binding. - Conservation binding (2006):
cardboard spine and covers with turned edges; bookblock sewn on
five supports.
Textual: (ff. 106v-108r) Fragment of psalms(?). The text begins
with a sentence from Psalm 50: "Domine labia mea aperies. Et os
meum annunciabit laudem tuam".
