    Written in Greek for the Presentation of the Theotokos (Nov. 21), a feast celebrated in the Serbian monastery of Chilander on Mount Athos. Almost certainly written on Mount Athos. The melody denoted "Servikon" is almost identical with its 13th century Byzantine original and is one of the earliest documents of Serbian chant.
