    Binding: Nineteenth-century olive morocco, possibly by Lewis.
    Provenance: Robert Chaderton (sixteenth century); signature on A8r in a sixteenth-century hand. John Holland (sixteenth century); signature on D1v. William Vincent (1739-1815), Dean of Westminster; sale (15 Mar. 1816), lot 1176. Samuel Weller Singer (1783-1858); provenance according to de Ricci, but not identified in sale catalogue. Probably George Spencer-Churchill (1766-1840), 5th Duke of Marlborough; Catalogue of the Very Valuable and Extensive Library of Books . . . Removed from Blenheim (Oxford: Giles & Son, 28 May 1840), lot 437, in the Bodleian copy of the sale catalogue is an annotated price of £50.
