Description
  • James II (of Scotland), bearded, and wearing armour, with crown, sword and sceptre. With him is his wife, Mary of Guelders. Her skirt bears a coat of arms (presumably her own), and she holds a thistle.
    Written in Scotland in the reign of Mary, queen of James V.
