The front cover has a centrepiece of crossed sabres and a ribbon
with 'In memory of the Battles of Thonhausen Quebec &c 1759';
the back cover has a red label lettered 'For George Pocock Esqr.
Vice Admiral of the Red'. 'Hanway' bindings became famous in their
day as tools for philanthropy and have become highly collectible.
