Contents: This manuscript consists of a calendar followed by
computus tables and works related to the reckoning of time:
Helperic of Auxerre, De computo , Bede the Venerable, De temporum
ratione and Bede the Venerable, Epistola ad Wicthedum de
aequinoctio vel de paschae celebratione. Helperic's treatise on the
computus derives from the second family of manuscripts of this
text, which was produced after the Conquest (1066) and has some
Norman connections, according to McGurk, 'Computus Helperici'
(1974). This manuscript was perhaps the exemplar from which Royal
MS 12 F II was copied, see Sharpe and Willoughby, Medieval
Libraries of Great Britain (2015). Contents:ff. 4v-15r: A calendar
with computus material (ff. 11r-15r); it does not include saints'
feasts. ff. 17r-35v: Helperic of Auxerre, De computo (On the
computus), preceded by a prologue (ff. 17r-v) and capitula (ff.
17v-18r); beginning of the prologue: 'Incipit prologus Albrici de
compoto Lune. Cum fratribus adolescentioribus nostris quedam
calculatorie artis rudimenta'; beginning of the text: 'Incipit
libellus Albrici de compoto Lune. Annus solaris ut maiorum constat
sollertia'; ending: 'deinceps facilius assequantur'. ff. 36r-127v:
Bede, De temporum ratione (On the reckoning of time), preceded by a
prologue (ff. 36r-v) and capitula (ff. 36v-37v); beginning of the
prologue: 'Incipit prologus Bede presbiteri in libro de temporibus.
De natura rerum et ratione temporum'; beginning of the text (f.
37v): 'Incipit liber Bede presbiteri de temporibus. De temporum
ratione domino iuvante'. ff. 127v-150r: Bede, Epistola ad Wicthedum
de aequinoctio vel de paschae celebratione (Epistle to Wicthed on
the equinox or on the celebration of Easter), beginning:
'Reverentissimo ac Sanctissimo fratri Victhed presbitero Beda
optabilem in domino salutem'. Decoration: Two large initials in red
at the beginning of the books (ff. 17r, 36r).Green and violet 'KL'
