Kalendarium with several tables, e.g. for the calculation of lunar
and solar eclipses. Note:
Date: Based on the computus tables: (f. 1r) "Tabula docens pro 84
annis quis sit annus bisextilis que littera dominicalis que in
primatio ab annis domini 1425 incoando annum a circuncisione
domini". - (f. 2v) "Incipit autem primus ciclus anno domini 1425 et
terminatur ultimus anno domini 1462". - (f. 17r-19r) Table of solar
and lunar eclipse dates for the years 1425-1462.
Binding: Medieval binding, contemporary.- Leather (white) over a
single piece of parchment. Girdle book (?). - After removal of two
triangles at their top sides, the leaves (not arranged in quires)
were folded in: two vertical folds for the left and right quarter
of each leaf, then a third, horizontal fold in the middle. Next,
the leaves were sewn together through the remaining triangle at the
top and then sewn into the cover spine (also triangle shaped),
resulting into a 'bat book', which leaves have to unfold (like the
wings of a bat) in order to disclose their information.
