from August 10, 1779 to February 6, 1780. Biographical Note:
The 12th Massachusetts Regiment was created on Nov. 6, 1776 and
served until disbanded on Jan. 1, 1780. From Sept. 28, 1779 to Jan.
1, 1781, the regiment was under command of Lieutenant Colonel
