This fragment of a Sacramentary of Rhaetian provenance (the
Sacramentarium Gelasianum) is important in terms of liturgical
scholarship; it was produced near the end of the 8th century in
Chur and was recorded shortly thereafter among the holdings of the
Abbey of St. Gall. The manuscript is closely related to the
Sacramentarium Gelasianum of Codex 348, also of Rhaetian origin.
