Contents: Pentateuch, i.e. the first Five Books of Moses (Genesis,
Exodus, Numbers, Leviticus and Deuteronomy).
Extent: 54 sheets. 35.5 metres long. Width 0.5 to 0.8 m., average
0.7m.
Layout: Layout corresponds to that of a typical Ashkenazi Torah
scroll. Text is written, in average, in three columns per parchment
sheet. There are 50 lines of text per column.
Hand: Ashkenazi square script (STAM).
Decoration: With tagin; wooden rollers have been decorated both on
the outside and the inside.
Binding: Embroidered velvet mantle.
