    [61] leaves.
    Note:
    Gothic minuscule script; 1 column of 19 lines (10 x 7.5 cm.).
    Written in Dutch, by one hand, in black ink with ornamental initials in red, blue and green.
    The calendar of the saints follows the Utrecht usage (e.g. the commemoration of St Margaret is kept on July 13th rather than July 20th as in the rest of the Western Church).
    Probably from the province of Limburg in eastern part of Flanders; may originally have been associated with a Brigittine monastery.
    Modern light brown calf binding.
    With the autograph of Charles Gordon at the verso of leaf 30 and recto of leaf 31; with the autograph of William Dunlop, surgeon on verso of leaf 12.
