neün undneüntzigisten iare. Edited by Johann von Cube. Chancery
folio, with paper measuring 27.4 x 18.5 cm. Text in two columns,
each measuring approximately 20.5 x 6.2 cm. Illustrated throughout
with woodcuts, mainly depicting plants, but also some animals and
apparatus, etc. Signatures: pi⁴ a-v⁸ w⁸ x-z⁸ A-D⁸ E⁶
F⁸ G-H⁶ I⁸ (I8 blank). Huntington Library copy is hand
colored. Imperfect: leaves pi1, pi4, a1 and a3 lacking. Leaves e2
and e3 missing lower right corner, with slight loss of text.
Binding: contemporary German blindstamped calfskin over wooden
boards; remnants of two clasps. Rebacked. Notes:
