Summary:
Manuscript 290, from c. 1300, contains a sermon bundle. The sermons
consist of quotes from church fathers and from the Bible. The
manuscript is sparsely decorated. On Folio 1r a damaged ornamental
initial remains; in red, blue, gold and white with embellishments
up into the margins. The manuscript was owned by Johannes Crabbe,
who was a monk at Ten Duinen Abbey. An ownership mark on Folio 207v
indicates he owned it in 1452. Crabbe wrote several comments in the
manuscript and added an incomplete table of contents. [Summary by
