Manuscript of Fall of princes by John Lydgate. Includes sketches
and miniatures. Binding: Bound, s. XVIII, in English gold-tooled
brown calf; rebacked, original spine laid down. The volume was
resewn after coming to the Huntington, probably sometime in the
1930s, to restore the contents to their proper sequence. Text is in
two columns unless otherwise noted. Most columns have five verses
with seven lines each. Biographical Note:
John Lydgate of Bury was a monk and poet, born in Lidgate, Suffolk,
