Petrarch’s poems and commentary in roman type; with printed numbering in roman numerals; poems set on left in small block, with commentary distributed to the right and below.

The Rerum vulgarium fragmenta 1-135 with commentary by Francesco Filelfo. followed by RVF 136 with Filelfo’s and Squarciafico’s commentaries, followed by RVF 137-366 with Squarciafico’s commentary. No explicit mention is made of the change of commentator from Filelfo to Squarciafico, but this is evident at H8r when the first line of the sonnet is printed twice for each commentary and from the explicit of Squarciafico’s commentary where he names himself.

There is also another work, often issued together with this one, containing the Triumphi and commentary by Bernardo da Siena with colophon dated 8 April [1486]. ISTC have a single record for both works, but more copies survive separately than together.
