    Arabic script; 1 column of 15 lines (11.5 x 6 cm.).
    Written by a single hand in fine Arabic calligraphy in black ink on ivory-coloured, glazed paper. Illuminated with Turkish rococco ornamentation in gold, red, green, rose & blue; heavily illuminated and decorated colophon.
    Transcribed by Ali al-Turabi, a pupil of Muhammad (Mehmed) al-Shukri. Cf. colophon.

    Text on each page enclosed in gold-leaf frames.
    Contemporary marbled endpapers.
    Contemporary Islamic binding of black goatskin over board stamped in silver and gold.
