Manuscript 417 contains Speculum eleuationis et exaltacoinis
ordinis cisterciensis, a text about the Cistercian order by a monk
of Ten Duinen Abbey, Mattheus Pillaert. It was commissioned by
Pierre de Virey (d. 1497), abbot of Clairvaux Abbey, for abbot Ten
Duinen Abbey Johannes Crabbe (c. 1420-1488) (Folio 50r). The
manuscript was made between 1471 and 1488. The manuscript contains
some decorations. For instance, the beginning of book starts off
