Description
This manuscript with medical and botanical texts was largely
written in the 13th century, but also include a botanical glossary
in Latin, Anglo-Norman and Middle English that has been written in
the late 12th century. Contents: ff. 1r-68v: A collection of
medical and botanical recipes in Latin, Anglo-Norman and Middle
English. ff. 69v-72v: A botanical glossary in Latin, Anglo-Norman
and Middle English. ff. 73r-74v: A list of plant names accompanied
by single Latin verses on their virtues.ff. 74v-75r: Three medical
recipes in Latin.ff. 75r-75v: A passage on the humours.ff. 75v-79v:
