  • This manuscript with medical and botanical texts was largely written in the 13th century, but also include a botanical glossary in Latin, Anglo-Norman and Middle English that has been written in the late 12th century. Contents: ff. 1r-68v: A collection of medical and botanical recipes in Latin, Anglo-Norman and Middle English. ff. 69v-72v: A botanical glossary in Latin, Anglo-Norman and Middle English. ff. 73r-74v: A list of plant names accompanied by single Latin verses on their virtues.ff. 74v-75r: Three medical recipes in Latin.ff. 75r-75v: A passage on the humours.ff. 75v-79v: A medical treatise on oils.ff. 79v-86v: A collection of medical recipes in Latin and the vernacular (Anglo-Norman and/or Middle English).ff. 87r-89r: Fragments of two botanical treatises.ff. 89v-91v: Various medical recipes.ff. 92r-98r: A short treatise on herbs.ff. 98r-98v: A short medical treatise.ff. 99r-107v: Various medical recipes.Decoration:Numerous large initials in red and blue, some with penwork decoration.
