    6 ff. (iii+6+ii) Leaf height: 190 mm, width: 130 mm. Written height: 152 mm, width: 85 mm.
    Binding:

    Modern black cloth binding. The original binding with beige flexible boards is still present (the front board is ripped and the bottom half is missing), bound together with the text block and preceded and followed by modern fly-leaves.


    Acquisition:
    Acquired by The John Rylands Library from the heirs of Moses Gaster in 1954.
    Layout:

    Long line with about 31 written lines.


    Collation:

    Paper stub after folio 6. The manuscript includes surely one quire of 3 bifolios. Catchwords at the bottom left corner of side b of each folio.


    Script:
    Italian semi-cursive script.Italian square script for the alphabetical entries.

    Abstract:

    Opening part of the dictionary Ohel mo'ed by Solomon ben Abraham of Urbino, from אב to בדל. Sporadic vocalisation. The dictionary is available in an edition by Jonas Willheimer, ʾOhel moʻed ʻal shemot ha-nirdafim = hebraeische Sinonima (Vienna 1881).

    Modern pencil foliation in Arabic numerals at the top outer corner of side a of each folio.

    Folio iiia: Handwritten in violet pencil number 156.
    Folio iiib: Handwritten note in Latin characters mentioning the name Isaija Romanin and the city of Pesaro.
    Folio 1a: Handwritten in black ink "1620 M. Gaster".


    Condition:

    Stains and some book-worm holes.
