    Note:
Origin: Probably produced for the Canonesses Regular of St. Gertrudis in 's-Hertogenbosch. Based on a remark in the calendar at March 17:"Gertrudis virginis Solempne. in hac domo buscoducis".
Binding: Medieval binding, not contemporary (16th century). - Leather (brown, blind-tooled, painted black, worn) over wooden boards. Two clasp fastenings (closing back to front; lower hook, catch, strap plate and both straps renewed). - Bookblock resewn, spine renewed.
Textual: Calendar contains saints venerated in the diocese of Liège: Gertrudis (17.3), Servatius (13.5), Lambertus (17.9). The Windesheim connection is based on the special attention for Augustine, in the ordinary (2r), the calendar (28.8), Litany of All Saints (first confessor, 70r) and Proper of Saints (148v).
