    Contains, in Latin: (pp. 1-12) Calendar, use of Sarum. - (pp. 13-27) Prayers to the Trinity and to various saints: St. George (15), St. John the Evangelist (19), St. Anne (23), St. Catherine (27). - (pp. 29-61) Hours of the Virgin Mary: matins (29-), lauds (37-), prime (43-), terce (47-), sext (49-), nones (53-), vespers (55-), compline (57-). - (pp. 63-79) Prayers to the Virgin Mary, including Virgo templum trinitatis, a hymn based on Salve Regina (65-69); Seven Joys of the Virgin Mary (70-79). - (pp. 79-80) Prayer to St John the Evangelist. - (pp. 81-85) De septem verbis Christi in cruce / Bede. - (87-102) Penitential psalms and Litany of All Saints. - (pp. 103-116) Office of the Dead. - (p. 113-117) Commendation of Souls. - (pp. 117-119) Psalter of the Passion.     Note:
    Origin and date: based on the decoration. Made in Bruges for the English market, c. 1420-1440.
    18th-century pagination: 1-62, 65-122; in the same hand as the table of contents after p. 122.
    Six miniatures (showing some tears in the parchment) partially or completely backed; text leaf paginated 91-92 strenghtened in the margin on the recto side. Several leaves missing, especially in the Hours of the Virgin Mary, at the end of each canonical hour.
    Decoration: Contains seven full-page miniatures with floral and foliate borders in the style of the Masters of Otto van Moerdrecht, depicting: St. John the Evangelist (18), the Virgin and Child (22), St. Catherine (26), Christ before Pilate (42), the Scrouging of Christ (46), Christ on the Cross (52) and the Commendation of Souls to Heaven (116). - Also contains 21 painted initials extending into foliate borders with bezants, flowers and fruits. - On the stile and iconography of the Masters of Otto van Moerdrecht see Van Bergen 2007 (this manuscript not included in her manuscript corpus).
    Binding: Post-medieval binding (18th century. - Leather (brown, gold-tooled) over cardboard; spine texts "HORAE BEATAE / MARIAE / VIRGINIS &c" (on red leather) and "SARUM" (on black leather). - Dutch binding, in view of endpapers with watermark "L.V. Gerrevink".

(psalm 21). - (pp. 119-120) "Ad te domine speravi non confundar in eternum in justicia tue libera me. Inclina ad me aurem tuam accelera ut eruas me ..." (psalm 30). - (pp. 121-122) Incipit : "Verba mea auribus percipe domine intellige clamorem meum ... " (psalm 5).
