    1 item ; 13 x 22 cm.

    Summary:
    Addressed to his secretary, he writes of some errors in a little missal used in the cathedral that had been copied by Antonio Magistri of Lucca. He also refers to Ser Gorus the Cantor, or choirmaster, for whom the future pope was finding employment in Florence.

    Notes:
    Autograph letter, signed in Rome, written in a humanist script by Aeneas Sylvius while still cardinal-bishop of Siena, with red wax seal and paper flap.
    In a protective tray case, 28 cm.
