With his brief "Büchlein der ewigen Weisheit,” the Dominican
Henry Suso (1295-1366) created a work that was widely distributed
in the late Middle Ages. This manuscript is part of the collection
of the women’s cloister of St. Andrew in Engelberg; together with
cod. 141, it is a very early witness of the text.
