    Contains the Northern-Netherlandish translation, also known as the "Tweede Historiebijbel" (Second History Bible).
    Note:
    Origin: Based on the dialect.
    Date: Based on colophon, later added by the scribe: (f. 245r-v) "Hier eyndet dat oude testament ende wort begonnen op sinte geertruuds dach in / yn die vasten Int jaer ons heren Mcccc (?, later deceivingly changed into Mccc] ende Iviii en heb het voort daer na geeynt op sinte victors avont". - Text on f. 245v affected by chemical treatment.
    Binding: Medieval binding, not contemporary (16th century). - Leather (brown, blind-tooled) on wooden boards (reused). Decorated with roll-stamps (Fides, Spes, Fortitudo, Caritas). Double spine covering ("dos préservateur") nailed along the spine with two vertical metal strips. Two clasp fastenings (closing back to front, straps and hooks renewed). Metal bosses (2x5, one on back board renewed ). Metal strips and corner pieces (2x4) nailed to board edges. - Bookblock resewn; spine, "dos préservateur" and corners renewed.
