Incipit textus eiusdem: Initium evangelii Ihesu Christi filii Dei'. ff. 52r-85v: Evangelium secundum Lucam (The Gospel according to St Luke), preceded by the prologue (ff. 52r-v) and capitula (ff. 52v-55v), including lections, beginning (f. 55v): 'Secundum Lucam. Incipit textus eiusdem: Quoniam quidem multi conati sunt'. ff. 85v-112r: Evangelium secundum Iohannem , (The Gospel according to St John), preceded by the prologue (ff. 85v-86r) and capitula (ff. 86r-v), including lections, beginning (f. 86v): 'Incipit textus eiusdem evangelii: In principio erat verbum', ending: 'eos qui scribendi sunt libros. Explicit'. Decoration:Four medallions in the margins preceding the Gospels, in red, blue and green, containing the Evangelists symbols: a winged man for the Gospel of St Matthew (f. 10r); a winged lion for the Gospel of St Mark (f. 34v); a winged ox for the Gospel of St Luke (f. 55v) and an eagle for St John (f. 85v). Initials with penwork decoration in red and blue. Eusebian Canon tables consisting of columns and arches with zoomorphic or anthromorphic decoration and architectural pinnacles in brown and green and titles in red. Rubrics and verse numbering in red. Running titles and marginal rubrics in brown.
