    Lot 882 in the Bateman Sale. James Ludovic Lindsay (b. 1847, d. 1913), 26th Earl of Crawford bid £70 for it but failed to obtain it. It was bought by Bernard Quaritch (b. 1819, d. 1899), bookseller and publisher for £160 and James Ludovic Lindsay (b. 1847, d. 1913), 26th Earl of Crawford purchased it from him (CLL, May-Aug. 1893, nos. 436, 442, 453; CLI, 1892-94, nos.1 53, 155 (1st June 1893)).
