    Manuscript on vellum in a very clear cursive Ashkenazic hand, in 2 columns, 40-42 lines to a page.
    Scribe: Levi ben Aharon Ḥalfan.
    With the bookplate of ?Sassoon Collection, no. 534. See Sassoon, Ohel Daṿid, p. 172-193.
    According to Sotheby's Catalogue 1983, p. 198, examination under ultra-violet light reveals a different date, but the original date is 1459.
    Includes comments in the body of the text added by the scribe and marginal notes in a later hand, which include halakhic decisions by various authorities, such as Solomon ben Abraham ibn Adret, Asher ben Yeḥiel, Meir ben Baruch of Rothenburg and others.
