Abstract:
The manuscript contains the liturgy (Seder ha-Avodah) to be recited during the additional (musaf) service on the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur). According to the Sephardi rite. Included are some liturgical poems (piyyutim) such as one by Ibn Gabirol. The manuscript with adorned title page was produced in 1789 by scribe and illustrator Barukh for Moses ben David di Crasto. The manuscript later came in the possession of Mordekhai Gomes who gifted it to Revd. David Piza in 1846.

Folio iiib: Signature of Moses Gaster and the year 1789 in pencil.
Folio 1a: At the bottom left of the gate design of the title page signature in Hebrew of "מרדכי גומיס". His name, in Latin characters, is also added on folio iiib.
