Autograph letter, signed by Rochambeau, discussing the placement
and movement of troops, artillery and supplies, both in New York
and in the South. Rochambeau makes clear that his orders are
approved through George Washington, and mentions a potential
campaign to Penobscot. The letter is written on pages 1 and 2; page
3 is blank; page 4 bears the address to Destouches. Title supplied
